I have spent way too many hours working on this damn website.  But the good news is, I finally got the news page functional so I don't have to rant too much about it here. Hooray.

When I fianlly get things under control a bit, I can finally start working on my wallpapers and stuff. Finally some original content!!!

Work was all sorts of out of control today.  Yet another visit from the Pope's assistant (he's been in everyday for the past two weeks).  We also found out that we're losing yet another employee.  Erin got the call from marketing for the job she applied for.  She starts in that department on Oct 1st.  She's the last one of the original crew... now I'm all alone with hordes of new employees.  Actually, no, I'm not.  I forgot that Micki is coming back on the 20th.  She was out forever and a day because she had broken her wrist.

My review is coming up at the end of the month and I have a feeling they're going to want to push me into the assistant position.  I'm going to tell them to stuff it.  Maybe not like that, but I am going to decline it.  I've seen everything the assistant goes thru, and I'm not willing to open myself up to the massive stress for the lack of pay that they would probably offer.

But we are talking about a little less that a month away from now, they may be able to replace her before then.

We'll see....
